Well, "Just a quickie" as they say... still on the road to recovery, but things are getting better, hopefully i can begin some slow and careful re-introduction to service in about a month or so....can't wait..

Well, i'm still on the road to recovery... Doctors have said i shouldn't be doing anything for at least 6 weeks untill my foot heals completely....goodness that's a long time, but Mistress is managing iwthout me....She does have to ask where things are occaisionally, but She says if She cannot "muck in, in a time of crisis" then She wouldn't be worth much...it just makes me worry sometime that if She can manage so well without me, why would She want me back when i am well?

In any case..it's odd having to sit around with my foot up and the nice nurses coming to change my dressings every day...hopefully a speedy recovery will ensue and i ca nget back to being usefull again

Just a quick update to let everypne know that after a tedious 3 week stay in hospital I am now back home an on the road to recovery. It's a way of yet, but Mistresss is taking care of me. Thanks to those of Y/you who sent me messsages and i'll try to reply to your emails as soon as i can.

A short update before i go back to bed... i appear to have caught a dose of the flu...Doctors suspect "Swine Flu". Mistress is staking care of me and duties currently suspended untill i am well again.

Whoops..silly me.. this was supposed to be a new post, not posted as a comment to an earlier one....*sigh*.. i really do need to pay attention to what i am doing....but i guess i'll just repost it here for E/everyone..



Well, W/we're back...i know some of Y/you might have been wondering where i go too..well the answer is .....holiday...of a sort...

It wasn't so much of a holiday for me, as a change of location...and Y/you know what T/they say about a change. Mr Housman took Mistress for a week away down in Somerset...sadly the weather was far from great..and i was lucky enough to be taken along to assist in providing for Their needs on the trip. Sorry to disappoint any of Y/you who might be waiting for tales of nina being out in public and being shown off to a whole new crowd.. it was a private little cottage where i spent most of my week..so apart from a few delivery people..who yes..were more than al little surprised, i was largely left to myself while Mistress and Mr Housman were out and about...still lovely part of the country..i haven't got down there in years and Mistress seemed to have a wonderful time.


So..that's the reason i've not updated in a while...how is E/everyone else?

Oh bother...

it seems today is not a good day to get things dry on the line anymore....'s been nice and bright and bt now its gone all grey...and s i was wroting this i had to stop to get everything in as the rai had started...there's an image for you.. a sissy miad dashing in and out of the back door in her heels with arms full of damp washing and getting rained on....this isn't the glamourous life a lot of people imagine you know...but i'd never complain or swap it for another.

Still, Mistress wanted Shepards Pie for dinner tonight so i suppose i had best go make a start soon, but i'll finish now with a quick thankyou to those who read and comment on this however irregularally...it makes me feel good to know im not just prattling on to myself

Well, its been a little while since i've posted anything, so apologies for keeping any of Y/you wating, but i haven't had much tme to get on the computer.

my hand is all pretty much healed now, my thanks to those of Y/you who asked about it. Stitches all out and only a very faint scar that will fade further over time.

The recent "heatwave" was of course a tough time to wear a uniform in, but Mistress very kindly let me wear some of my lighter ones during this time and get a refreshing shower every night..

Mistress is planning some time away with Her lover next month, as yet i have no idea what i'll be doing in that time, but i'll be sure to let Y/you all know...maybe i''ll get loaned out to keep me busy... maybe left at home or perhaps get lucky and taken along....here's hoping.
