Just a very quick post to wish E/everyone a Happy New Year...

Monday, December 28, 2009

Well, that's Christmas done with for another year. i personally didn't get up to much out of the ordinary. Christmas day was busy cooking and serving dinner with all the works for Mistress Rebecca and Mr Housman...which She says they enjoyed immensly and since then, Mistress has been away visiting Mr Housmans family and enjoying a break so i've had the place to myself for a time. Mistress got me some new stockings for Christmas, which was nice as i can always use them, i got Her a dried flower display i had made....it has to be something i make each year as i don't get a disposable income allowance. Mistress also got a nice diamond necklace of Mr Housman, though i do not know what She got Him. i hope everyone had a great Christmas time and if i don't post before, Happy New Year..

i've learnt something over the last couple of days. And tht's to be grateful for small things. Like when you have to get outside first thing in the morning to de-ice Mistress's car so She can get to work; be grateful She lets you wear wellington boots and not the pretty (if somewhat impractical in the snow) shoes you wear round the house normally. Somehow i cant imagine the alternative being any kind of fun whatsoever.

Well, it's been a while since i've posted anythin..mostly because i've not been doing much having been stuck recovering from the surgery to my foot. The good news is that the doctor and pediatrist have all given me the ok to be back up and about and doing things.

I have to still take it easy for a while and i'm only in flats rather than those gorgeous heels i love, but i'm back working and cleaning in Mistress's home. The first thing on my list is an early "spring clean" and just going through the place getting it all ready for Christmas. This is probably going to take a few days as Mistress is keeping a tight rein on how much i can do so as not to wear myself out or damage the final stages of my healing and so on, but W/we're gettnig a tree this weekend and hopefully this will look fantastic once it's in place.

i've no doubt E/everyone else is getting ready for Christmas too and my best Seasons Greetings to A/all.

And remember, it wouldn't be Christmas without M&S.....it would be Chrita.
